Jazz SMS Packages — All Plans with Codes and Daily/Weekly/Monthly Options (2025)
All active Jazz SMS bundles compared — plus the SMS vs WhatsApp distinction that most users get wrong, and how to unsubscribe from packages you forgot about.
Jazz SMS Packages: Full Table
Jazz SMS packages provide traditional network text messages (standard 160-character GSM SMS). The table below covers all active Jazz SMS plans with activation codes and tax-exclusive base prices.
SMS packages do NOT cover WhatsApp: These packages cover only traditional SMS sent from your phone’s built-in messaging app to another phone number. WhatsApp messages, Facebook messages, and Messenger are internet-based and require a data or social bundle — not an SMS package.
| Package | Price (base) | SMS Allowance | Validity | Activation Code |

Jazz Daily SMS Package
Jazz daily SMS packages provide 300 SMS for 24 hours at Rs. 3 base price. Activate via *334#. Daily packages are suitable for occasional high-volume days — for regular daily SMS users, the weekly or monthly package delivers significantly better per-SMS value.
Jazz Weekly SMS Package
Jazz weekly SMS packages provide 1,500 SMS for 7 days at Rs. 12 base price (~Rs. 14 tax-inclusive). Activate via *334*2#. At Rs. 12 for 1,500 SMS, this works out to Rs. 0.008 per SMS — the best per-message rate among Jazz’s short-validity SMS bundles.
Jazz Monthly SMS Package
Jazz monthly SMS packages range from 3,000 SMS (Rs. 35) to 6,000 SMS (Rs. 55) for 30 days. The 6,000 SMS option at Rs. 55 is most cost-effective for heavy texters. Activate via *334*3# (3,000 SMS) or *334*5# (6,000 SMS).
Jazz SMS Package for WhatsApp — Does It Cover WhatsApp?
No Jazz SMS package covers WhatsApp — and this is the most commonly misunderstood point. Here is the distinction: Traditional SMS travels over the GSM voice channel — no internet required. WhatsApp messages travel over the internet (mobile data or Wi-Fi). Jazz SMS packages cover only the first type. For WhatsApp, activate a Jazz WhatsApp bundle (*786#) or a Jazz monthly hybrid package that includes data.
How to Activate Jazz SMS Package
How to Unsubscribe from Jazz SMS Package
To cancel an active Jazz SMS subscription before it auto-renews, dial *334*4# or go to MyJazz App → Active Subscriptions → find your SMS package → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current validity period — you are not charged for the next renewal cycle.
Check for forgotten SMS subscriptions: Many users have old SMS packages auto-renewing without their knowledge. Dial *334*4# or check MyJazz App → Active Subscriptions to see all your current package subscriptions. Cancel any you did not intentionally activate.
Jazz SMS Package FAQs
What is a Jazz SMS package?
A Jazz SMS package is a prepaid bundle that provides a fixed number of traditional SMS messages (160-character GSM text messages) for a defined validity period. SMS packages are separate from data packages and cover standard text SMS only — not WhatsApp, iMessage, or any internet-based messaging.
Does Jazz SMS package cover WhatsApp messages?
No. Jazz SMS packages cover traditional network SMS only — messages sent from your dialer’s SMS app to another phone number. WhatsApp messages, Messenger messages, and iMessage are sent over the internet (data) and are not covered by any SMS package. You need a data or WhatsApp package for those.
How do I activate a Jazz daily SMS package?
Dial *334# from your Jazz SIM for daily SMS package options, or open MyJazz App → Packages → SMS Packages. Select your preferred daily, weekly, or monthly SMS bundle and confirm to activate.
How do I unsubscribe from a Jazz SMS package?
To unsubscribe from an active Jazz SMS package, dial *334*4# or open MyJazz App → Active Subscriptions → SMS and cancel the package. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current validity period — you will not be charged for renewal.
What is the difference between Jazz SMS and Jazz social packages?
Jazz SMS packages provide traditional GSM text messages only. Jazz social packages provide data for social media platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok). They serve completely different purposes. If your goal is WhatsApp communication, a social package is more appropriate than an SMS package.
Do Jazz SMS packages include messages to other networks?
Most Jazz SMS packages include SMS to all Pakistani networks (Jazz, Zong, Ufone, Telenor) within the stated allowance. However, international SMS is not included in standard SMS packages. Check the specific package description for any network-specific restrictions before activating.
