Curriculum

The seven modules

In the order SEO work happens on a real site. Each module ends with the exercise done on your own website or a practice site.

01How Google finds, renders and indexes pages
  • Crawling, rendering and indexing, and the Search Console reports that show each stage failing
  • Reading the Pages report: discovered, crawled, excluded, duplicate and canonical states
  • Robots.txt, XML sitemaps and canonical tags: what they control and what they do not
  • Core Web Vitals on shared Pakistani hosting: what to measure with real devices and what to fix first
  • Structured data: which types earn anything, and how to validate them
Tools used: Search Console, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, Rich Results test
02Keyword research and topical maps
  • Why keyword tools under-report Pakistan, and how to use Search Console impressions and SERP inspection instead
  • Classifying intent: informational, commercial investigation, transactional, local and mixed results
  • Building a topical map: central entity, commercial core pages, supporting content, and what each page may target
  • One intent, one URL: spotting cannibalisation before it happens
  • Gap analysis against competitors that rank in Pakistan
Tools used: Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, a spreadsheet
03Writing pages that rank for their intent
  • Titles, headings and descriptions written for the query, not a keyword count
  • Entity-led writing: naming what a topic is made of and making relationships explicit
  • Using the results page as the brief: what to add that ranking pages lack
  • Content audits: prune, merge, rewrite or leave alone
  • Answer and generative engine considerations: direct answers, clear definitions, source-worthy specifics
Tools used: The free tools on this site, Search Console
04Internal linking and site architecture
  • Hub and spoke structures, and how link placement changes what a page is understood to be about
  • Anchor text that describes the destination, and the patterns that look manipulative
  • Crawl depth, orphan pages and finding them with a crawler
  • Navigation, breadcrumbs and pagination decisions on real sites
Tools used: Screaming Frog, the anchor text auditor
05Links for Pakistani websites
  • Judging a link by relevance and the linking page, not a third-party score
  • Digital PR and outreach to Pakistani publications; guest placements that survive
  • Local citations and directories that matter for map pack rankings
  • What to refuse: link farms, private networks, paid schemes, and how sites get caught
Tools used: Ahrefs, outreach templates, a tracking sheet
06Local SEO and Google Business Profile
  • Profile setup: categories, service areas, attributes, photos and posts
  • Name, address and phone consistency across the directories Pakistani businesses appear on
  • Reviews: a routine for earning them and replying
  • City and locality pages for multi-location businesses, and when not to create them
Tools used: Google Business Profile, local directories
07E-commerce SEO on WooCommerce and Shopify
  • Category and product page structure for Pakistani buyer intent: cash on delivery, PKR pricing, delivery questions
  • Product, offer and review structured data
  • Faceted navigation, filters and parameter URLs: keeping crawl budget on pages that matter
  • Shopify URL and canonical quirks versus WooCommerce plugin-driven setup
Tools used: WooCommerce, Shopify, Rank Math, the schema generator

Which format should I choose?

If you are in Islamabad or Rawalpindi and learn better in a room, the Islamabad classroom course. Anywhere else, the online course is identical in content. Teams are better served by a training built around their site.

Is this theory or practice?

Practice. Every session runs on live sites and current Search Console data, and if you have a website it becomes the working example.

Do I need a website to join?

No. Practice sites are provided. Having your own site makes the course more useful because the fixes get done to something you keep.

How is this different from a free YouTube course?

Free material explains concepts. This course sits next to you while you diagnose a real site, tells you what to look at in Search Console, and corrects the decisions as you make them. The guides on this site cover the concepts for free; the course is for doing the work.

Can I read the material first?

Yes. The SEO guides on this site cover much of the module content in written form.
